Manufacturer is Forjas Taurus s.a. of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Style is Magna or Service type. Construction is entirely select figured Brazilian Walnut, with stainless slot head screw, blue screw escutheons, and satin nickel medallions. Screw is replacement for similar size Smith & Wessons, their thread is the same. Finish is plain oil. These grips are designed for Medium or Large Frame Taurus Revolvers with square butt grip frame, includes models 44, 65, 66, 80, 82, 83, 96, 431, 441, 607, 608, 669, & 689. They will fit the 6 shot Spesco Falcon revolvers made by Taurus. They are period correct for models 80, 82, 65, 66, and 96 with no prefix or prefixes up to R, around the millennial year. These have been stored since their issuance almost 50 years ago. Custom walnut grips command prices of $100 or more, and magnas like these are simply not available.
