This listing is ONE box. Buyer will receive one of the two identical boxes in the photos. Here is a factory box for Star compact single action pistols. Manufacturer was Star Bonifacio Echeverria of Eibar, Spain. From the parent pistols’ date codes, it was manufactured in the early 1990s and issued to the Spanish Guardia. Construction is injection molded one piece hard plastic, with integral clasps and hinged midsection, and with compartmentalized interior ribs for stability. Finish is textured blue verticals with Star brand name and logo molded into the lid; and with glossy borders and laterals. Surface detractions are moderate, principally scouring on the under side of the box. We rate them both as Very Good Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Interior compartment will accommodate an overall pistol length of 8 3/8 inches from muzzle to grip frame butt edge; 5 1/4 inches height from top of rear sight to butt edge; and 1 3/8 inches thickness. Outside dimensions are 8 3/4 inches length by 6 1/4 height by 2 inches thickness. This box will accept Star Compact pistols only, including Firestar, BM9, BKM, and PD. It will not accept any pistol unless its dimensions are equal to or less than the measurements we have quoted. This is a somewhat rare box. Out of the 500 some odd Star BM9s we’ve had in the past 10 years, we saw fewer than 20 of these. We’re offering the blue Star Boxes in the photos each for only $46.00.
