Traditional double and single action swingout revolver, hammer nose ignition with hammer block. steel barrel, cylinder, and parts housed in a lightweight round J alloy frame, with walnut grips. 5 rounds .38 Special, no +P. 2 inch barrel pinned into frame with fixed sights. .240 serrated trigger with matching hammer. Flat serrated thumb latch. 5 3/4 inches overall, 4 1/2 height, 1.31 cyl. dia. Domicile was Ramey Air Force Base jurisdiction area, Cold War defense against communists, then cartels. Minimal carbon, we estimate fired fewer than 100 rounds. 2 to 5 degrees hammer travel double action, 3 1/4 lb. single action pull with 20 degrees travel. No lateral cylinder play. .004 forcing cone gap. Polished blue and gloss black alloy finish with oil walnut grips. Surface detractions moderate, wear on side plate and one spot on cylinder.
