Exact revolver in photos. Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum Stainless, numbered model 66, 2nd Engineering Change. AFY serial number prefix = 1984Lear Sigler. Traditional double / single action revolver with transfer bar and hammer nose ignition. Entirely milled steel metal. 4 inch heavy 1 piece barrel. Adjustable white outline / red ramp sights. .400 custom smoothed trigger with .375 serrated hammer. Factory smooth Rosewood grips on square grip frame serrated fore & aft. 9 1/2 inches overall length; 5 height; 1.445 cyl dia; 32 oz. empty. Overall length is 9 1/2 inches by 5 inches height. Weight empty is 32 ounces, with center of gravity at the trigger. Finish is original brushed stainless steel, with matching Satin Chrome hammer and trigger. Note that the hammer nose is satin chrome finish. Grip frame is serrated fore and aft. Apart from the trigger modification, Surface detractions are minimal, only faint edge wear and occasional light streaks on the grips. We Excellent Condition, 90%, but photos ought to suffice. Local civilian exclusive owner; we sold it new in 1985. We estimate fired fewer than 200 times. Minimal carbon. 10-15 degrees hammer travel double action; 25 single, with 3 pound SA Pull. .004 forcing cone gap. No lateral cylinder play. No CA MA Civilians.
