PGS +1 Magazine Extension fits Remington 12 gauge Shotguns with Detent Lugs Gloss Black Alloy
OUR # XMTC

Item Description

This listing is for ONE Magazine Extension. The Tac-Cap simply replaces a standard magazine cap on Remington 12 gauge 870, 1100, and 11-87 series shotguns and adds 1 more shot to their capacity. Older models and police models with a detent on their barrel lug do not need any modification other than removing their spring retainer. Shotguns made after 1986 will have to have their magazine tube dimples removed, and the owner should employ Loctite or similar compound on the threads – we use nail polish. These are manufactured in Michigan; one piece alloy construction, 2 1/2 inches length, weight only 1 1/2 ounces. Finish is semi gloss black anodized, good enough match for bright blue, matte blue, and even parkerized shotguns. Owners should stretch / re-tension their magazines periodically as part of maintenance. Civilian owners of imported shotguns with Remington threads like the Hawk series should avoid pairing these with shotguns whose tubes already hold 5 shells. The Remingtons only hold four 2 3/4 inch or three 3 inch anyway, and the Tac-Cap raises that to five 2 3/4 or four 3 inch.
