Named model is Iver Johnson Target, so marked on the top strap, and numbered model 55SA. Single and double action rimfire revolver, hammer nose ignition with pull pin, side gate for loading and unloading, but no ejector included. No swingout. H64000 range serial = 1966, part of a 1955 – 1974 run. Steel metal with one piece polymer grip. 6”, 1:16 RH 6 groove barrel. 8 rounds .22 Short, Long, LR ammo. .305 serrated trigger with matching .382 hammer. 9 1/2” L x 5 1/2” H x 1.32” cyl. dia. 28.5 oz empty. Brushed blued barrel and cylinder, matte blued frame and guard, case colored trigger and hammer, and glossy grip. Minimal surface wear, we rate Excellent, 90% vicinity, but photos ought to suffice. West Tennessee domicile, we estimate fired fewer than 500 rounds. Transferable to C&Rs and CA civilians nationwide, no MA non-C&R civilians.
