manual in the photos, and the only one we have. Owner’s manual for the 87
Featherlight series Pump Action Shotguns, manufactured from 1987 until 1996.
Publisher was Ithaca Acquisition Corp, Kings Ferry, NY, the manufacturer of the
period. Bar code type back cover sticker bears an 870023000 range serial, 1990
production parent gun, a Featherlight Field Deerslayer. Document is a four
leaf, card thickness, black and blue ink on blue tint paper, single center
stapled. Folded dimensions are 4 x 6 inches. Moderate wear, principally age
toning with reverse side staining. We rate it Very Good, but photos ought to
suffice. Owners of 87 Ithacas who simply want instructions can avail themselves
of free downloads or videos. Owners, however, of 37 Featherlight and Deerslayer
shotguns in Excellent condition, who don’t have any original paperwork with
their shotgun, will find that this manual enhances its collectability.
