This listing is for ONE outer magazine tube. Installation should be performed by a competent gunsmith. Here are factory outer magazine tubes for Remington models 552 and 572 Rimfire, manufactured ever since 1954. Outer means the part that actually holds the cartridges, as distinguished from the inner tube which makes them go into the rifle. Models include 552, 552A, 552ADL, and 552 BDL in semi automatic; 572, 572A, 572 ADL, and 572BDL in pump or slide action. Manufacturer was Remington Arms of Ilion, New York. Construction is one piece folded and inletted. Overall length is 19 inches. This tube mates to any barrel length, 20 inch or 24 inch. Capacity is 15 long rifle, or 17 .22 Long, or 19 .22 Short cartridges. Finish is Buffed surface blued steel. These tubes are recent production, in the previous decade. They came from a distributor liquidation in Chapin, South Carolina. They will only fit Remington models 552 and 572, no other rifles, not correctly anyway. We’re offering them at a low replacement price.
