From the estate of a retired Texas Lawman comes this small lot of Vietnam Era, Government Issue magazines to fit AR15 or M16 type rifles. Manufacturer was Simmonds Precision of West Haven, CT, principally under contract to the US Army and US Air Force. Production dates were from 1966 until 1971. Construction is alloy body, follower, and floorplate, with steel spring. Floorplates, as the photos show, bear the markingsADVENTURE LINE MFG. CO. / PARSONS. KS. U.S.A.  These magazines show only moderate finish weakening on their surfaces. They are period correct for any AR-15 with an SP prefix with no Forward Bolt Assist. They will work in any AR15 type rifle chambered in .223 Remington caliber. Buyer will receive one (or all) of the magazines in the photos.
