Exact manual in photos. From an estate liquidation in New England comes this factory instruction manual for Mossberg’s New Haven series of pump action shotguns, model name 600. Publisher was O.F. Mossberg & Sons of North Haven, CT. Stapled bill of sale from the shotgun itself dates from 1980. Booklet is 7” x 5”, 16 numbered pages. Note that it contains a section of the C-Lect Choke. 1976 G838672 serial indicates its correct period, until about 1984. Detractions are moderate, principally age toning and sticker residue. Owners of late 1970s – early 1980s 600 New Haven shotguns can easily find instruction manuals to download at mossberg com, or via numerous videos online. Owners, however, of 600 pumps in Very Good or better condition will find that this manual and perhaps even its attached bill of sale will enhance their shotgun’s collectability.
