            Exact Knife in photos. Manufacturer
was Federal Knife Co., of Johnston, RI. Thornton was one of their brand names
1945-1950. Company sold later to Colonial Cutlery, Providence, RI. Tang stamp
Thornton USA.  Entirely steel metal:
blades, backsprings, liners, and pins; with polymer yellow handles. Note the
damaged bolster beside the blade pivot. 1 3/4 inch blade length. 2 inches oal
closed. In addition to the blemish, moderate residue on the metal surfaces. We
rate Good / blemished condition, but photos ought to suffice. Blade closure is
sluggish.
