Here is a well preserved first edition of Professor Yadin’s autobiographical account of the excavations in the Land of Israel, that rediscovered the last Messianic figure to actually stage an armed revolt against the Romans. Printer was Weidenfeld and Nicolson, Jerusalem, publication date was 1971, first edition. We personally bought this book new in Jerusalem in the early 1970s. Contents are 271 printed pages, with numerous photographs, diagrams, and maps. Dimensions are standard 1 inch by 8 by 10. Surface detractions are moderate, principally wear to the paper cover, and some toning to the pages. Spine and back are excellent and strong. We’re offering this fascinating, collectable piece of Judaica at an attractive price.
