Item Description

This listing is for ONE set of grips. Here are oversized target stocks or grips to fit the sturdy little Rough Rider series revolvers that have the standard grip frames. Manufacturer is a local Tennessee producer. Construction is fiberglass reinforced, injection molded polymer, with steel screw and brass escutcheons.Style is Colt Scout type oversized; these are patterned on 1970s style Italian design grips with correct frame dimensions for the Rough Riders.Finish is wood tone brown. They will fit all variants of the Rough Rider series except those with birds head style round butt. With some fitting, they can be made to work on ancestors to the Rough Rider, like the Colt Scout, Tanfoglio Buffalo Scout, FIE E15, Tanarmi Excam TA76, Kimel Western Six, and even the Rohm RG66 type. These grips bring the Rough Rider’s overall length up from 10 inches for a 4 3/4 inch barrel, to 10 3/8 inches; height increases from 4 3/4 inches to 5 1/2 inches; thickness is 1.218 inches at the screw, and 1.413 thickness at the thumb rest crests. Patience and correct alignment of the grip frame pin is required. We’re offering these attractive, ergonomic grips for a very attractive price.
