Buyers should be competent to remove and reinstall the grip on their pistol. There are ample resources on the internet to guide one through the process. This listing is for ONE grip. Here are original factory grips for Smith & Wesson standard sized 5900 series or 4000 series pistols, including models 4003, 4006, 4043, 4046, 5903, 5904, 5946, and 5946 chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W Caliber. Note that this variant has a curved backstrap area, so its grip circumference is larger than the straight type. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA, and its subcontractors. Construction is one piece molded black polymer. These grips served in the Caribbean, in the jurisdictional area of Borinquen Air Station. Surface detractions are moderate, principally residual wear on the lower right side. We rate them as Good, perhaps Very Good, Condition. These have been retouched with energetic scrubbing treatment from a Scotch Brite green scouring pad. None of them are cracked, and all will accept the original retaining pins. We have pins available and listed on this same venue. We also have correct looking new replacement grips with straight backstrap for a bit more money. These are for shoppers who don’t mind a little scrubbing, and to whom the Smith & Wesson trademark and logo are important. These grips were discontinued in 2014.
