This listing is for the EXACT note in the photos. From a local estate collection here in West Tennessee comes this unusual World War II $1.00 Note. Note itself is series of 1935, with red serial and seal, and without any Motto on the reverse. Hawaii Stamping was performed by the US Treasury for issuance on the islands in case they were overrun by the Japanese Imperial Army, and notes would then be rendered worthless. Note its old repairs from folding, with aged scotch tape. We rate it as only Fair Condition, but scans ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
