Exact pistol in photos. Star Echeverria, S.A. model Ultra Star. Single stack, double and single action semi auto pistol. No date code; 2170000 range serial, production only lasted 1994 - 1997. The Ultra Star was the manufacturer’s final attempt at modernization before its corporate demise in 1998. Steel barrel, slide, levers, hammer, trigger, magazine, and internal parts in a reinforced polymer frame, with polymer guide rod. 3 1/2 inch barrel. Integral front sight and rear slide serrated rib, with dovetailed rear sight, 3 dot configuration.  9 shot single stack magazine, 9 + 1 capacity. Reversible magazine release. Left side slide release favors right handed shooters. Single pin disassembly. .395 smooth faced trigger, with .295 Commander type hammer.

Double and single action semi-auto pistol. Firing pin safety, and ambidextrous lever fps that does not decock or immobilize the pistol’s mechanism. 7 1/4 inches OAL; 5 height; 1.071 frame thickness. 26.8 oz. empty. Two stage trigger, ca 12# double action with 1 inch travel; 7 1/8 single action pull, 1/2 inch travel. Matte blue slide assembly; white chamber hood; polished blued trigger and levers; black polymer frame with square faced guard and with lateral checkering. Minimal wear, only faint light lateral scouring. We rate Excellent, 90 percent vicinity, but photos ought to suffice. Bore and mechanism are clean, we estimate fired fewer than 50 times, if at all. This pistol comes in its original blue factory box with cleaning brush and rod. Box is agency relabeled. Possibly never issued. No CA MA civilians.
