Manufacturer  and warrantor is  Springfield Armory of Geneseo, IL. 314000 serial = 2013 production. Type is detachable magazine gas operated semi automatic high powered rifle. Entirely steel metal, with steel reinforced hard polymer barrel hand guard and original American Walnut stock. 7.62x51 NATO and .308 Winchester interchangeably. Barrel is 22 inch carbon steel, six groove right hand 1:11 Rifling, medium weight with .595 outside diameter behind the collar. Muzzle carries a removable perforated 3 inch brake. Threads are 5.95 x 32, and adapters are readily available for conversion to 5/8 – 24 accessories. Gas assembly is hex head, removable for cleaning. Collar, wing protected dovetailed blade front sight, with windage and elevation adjustable wing protected aperture rear. 4x16x50 Leapers UTG Mil Dot Scope with alloy rings and base. Mount thumb screws into receiver left side, then stripper clip slot additional base for stability. Disassembly is Garand style. Magazine is correct KSI 20 rounder. Safety is Garand type.  Trigger is .204 smooth faced steel, and the photo specimen pulled two stage, 1/2 inch travel, at 5 pounds with minimal felt creep and moderate overtravel. Stock has wave stippled lateral panels on the forend and pistol grip areas, with permanent 1 1/2 inch sling swivels fore and aft. Buttstock length of pull is 13 1/2 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 7/8 inch black rubber recoil pad. Stock drop is 2 1/2 inches at the comb and 3 inches at the heel, with a 1 inch right hand cant, not southpaw friendly. Overall length is 44 5/8 inches. Weight empty is 8 pounds 8 ounces, with center of gravity at the chamber mouth. Finish is durable parkerized steel and oil finish stock. This rifle comes to us from its exclusive civilian owner in New England. He bought it new from us in 2013. Minimal wear, faint edge wear and stock impress. It was fired fewer than 40 times, only with commercial ammunition. We rate it Excellent Condition, 90% vicinity, but photos ought to suffice. Ships disassembled.
