Item Description

This listing is for the exact hammer and trigger in the photos. From armorer stock in the Caribbean comes this original hammer and trigger for Smith & Wesson K frame revolvers. Manufacturer was Smith &Wesson of Springfield, MA, some time in the 1980s. Construction is entirely steel. This pair will only fit K Frame Revolvers that use Older, Hammer Nose Ignition, made before about 1997. Trigger width is .299, down from its original .312; hammer width is .365 at the widest point of its spur. They will not work in later models that have frame mounted, floating firing pins. Finish is hard chrome. Note that the hammer has its stirrup and even its rivet, but no actual hammer nose firing pin. Trigger is complete with all its pins and lever. Note that the hammer, for some reason, has been sanded or milled on its left side. Apart from that, surface detractions are moderate to extensive, principally lateral weather pitting on the hammer. We rate them as Good Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Similar combinations approach $200 pricing on other venues. We’re offering this pair, however, for only $ 69.00.
