This listing is for the ONE set of grips, identical to the photo specimens. Here are factory Smith & Wesson boot grips in wood laminate for any J frame revolver with a round butt grip frame. Manufacturer was Altamont Grips of Thomasboro, IL. Exclusive distributor was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. Construction is Rosewood Laminate, with blue steel screw and brass screw escutcheons. Controugs are smooth, with grooves for index, middle, and ring fingers. This set of grips is for a Smith & Wesson J or Small Frame Revolver with a Round Butt Grip frame, Chief’s Special type revolver. Numbered models included 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 50, 51; the 6 prefix stainless variants of those numbers; the model 60; model 63 later production round butt variants; the model 317s and the 3 prefix Air Lite variants of those models. These are period correct for 1990s through current production revolvers. Interestingly, they came to us on a 1982 production model 60 from Shelby County, Tennessee. These will Not fit a Square Butt Model 36 revolver. They will Not fit a Model 10 because it is a K frame. They will not fit a model 581 because it is an L frame. They will only fit Smith & Wesson J frame revolvers with a round butt grip frame. Finish is semi gloss polyurethane, factory Altamont. Surface detractions on this set are minimal, we only see one small scour on the lower forward right panel. We rate them as Excellent Condition, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
