This listing is for the exact grips in the photos. Here are standard service grips for Smith & Wesson small J Frame revolvers that have a round butt grip frame. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. Construction is American Walnut, with nickel plated factory brass logo medallions, and with steel screw and brass escutcheons. Checkering is machine cut with standard border. These grips fit a Smith & Wesson J or Small Frame Revolver with a Round Butt Grip frame, Chief’s Special type revolver. Numbered models included 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 50, 51; the 6 prefix stainless variants of those numbers; the model 60; model 63 later production round butt variants; the model 317s and the 3 prefix Air Lite variants of those models. These are period correct for 1970s through 1990s production revolvers. These will Not fit a Square Butt Model 36 revolver. They will Not fit a Model 10 because it is a K frame. They will not fit a model 581 because it is an L frame. They will only fit Smith & Wesson J frame revolvers with a round butt grip frame. These grips have been cleaned and retouched from original similar but slightly mismatched due to darkness of the right panel. Surface detractions are moderate. We rate them as Very Good refinished, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
