Photos are representative, but buyers will receive a set of grips very similar to the photo specimens.  This listing is for ONE set of grips: one of the 12 sets in the photos. Here are factory Smith & Wesson Walnut Magna Style service grips fitted for the Model 12, .38 M&P Airweight, round butt grip frame revolver. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. From their 500,000 range serial numbers inside the left panel, these grips were manufactured in 1962. Likely they served in Asia, possibly in Hong Kong. Construction is cut checkered American walnut, with nickel plated brass logo medallions, brass escutcheons and steel or brass screw. These grips have undergone a substantial amount of fitting, since Model 12s have thinner-than-normal grip frames compared to 10s, 13s, and 19s. These sets came to us from an East Coast Importer. Surface detractions are only moderate, principally edge wear. We rate them as Very Good Condition, close to Excellent, 85 percent vicinity by our estimate, but Photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. There have not been any of these grips manufactured for over fifty years now.
