This listing is for ONE 2 inch Revolver Box with all its papers, the exact box in the photos. Note that both halves have a lateral crease on one side. Here is an original factory 2 piece blue box for Smith & Wesson 2 Barreled Small J Frame Revolvers. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA, and its subcontractors. From this box’s M150000 range serial number, it issued in 1980 or 1981, late Bangor Punta period. It housed a 2 inch blued .22/.32 Kit Gun, numbered model 34-1. Construction is two piece folded cardboard with steel edge hinges and with S&W blue paper overlay. Internal dimensions are 7 3/8 inches length, by 4 1/2 inches width or height, by 1 7/16 inches thickness. External dimensions are slightly more, of course. Revolvers shipped with muzzle pointed to the box corner on these, diagonal positioning. For dimensions on the revolvers, please consult smith-wesson com. This box comes with its original tri-fold instruction manual; with original never completed factory registration card, with Caution and warranty station insert; with S&W Ammunition flyer; with Holster Flyer; with protective factory Nox paper, and with its Cleaning Kit. Surface detractions are moderate, principally lateral pressure crease on one side, then stress and edge wear of the blue overlay. We rate it as Very Good Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This box is correct for any 2 inch model 34 manufactured from mid 1960s to mid 1980s, and passable for most any 2 inch J Frame.
