This listing is for ONE K Frame Revolver Box, the exact box in the photos. Here is an original factory 2 piece blue box for Smith & Wesson 4 inch barreled, Medium K Frame Revolvers that issued from the early 1960s until the late 1980s. This one originally housed a 4 inch model 19-2 revolver. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. From its K785000 range serial number, it dates from 1968. Construction is two piece folded cardboard with steel edge hinges and with S&W dark blue paper overlay. Internal dimensions are 10 3/8 inches length, by 4 3/8 inches width or height, by 1 3/4 inches thickness. External dimensions are slightly more, of course. Revolvers shipped with muzzle pointed to the box corner on these, diagonal positioning. For dimensions on the revolvers, please consult smith-wesson com. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, principally edge wear. We rate this box as Very Good Condition, perhaps even excellent; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This box is correct for a 4 inch model 19 revolver, and acceptable for any K frame manufactured from the late 1960s to the late 1980s. It comes complete with its original Nox protective paper, NRA enrollment card, factory Warranty registration card, and cellophane wrapper for its missing cleaning kit.
