This listing is for ONE K Frame Revolver Box. Buyer will receive one of the two boxes in the photos, two was all we had. Here is an original factory unlabeled 2 piece blue box for Smith & Wesson 4 inch barreled, Medium K Frame Revolvers that issued from the early 1960s until the late 1980s. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA, and its subcontractors. Each box and its parent revolver issued to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in 1981, attest its 94K serial number prefix. Construction is two piece folded cardboard with steel edge hinges and with S&W dark blue paper overlay. Internal dimensions are 10 3/8 inches length, by 4 3/8 inches width or height, by 1 3/4 inches thickness. External dimensions are slightly more, of course. Revolvers shipped with muzzle pointed to the box corner on these, diagonal positioning. For dimensions on the revolvers, please consult smith-wesson com. Each box comes with its original protective Nox Paper. LASO maintained their boxes and weapons well, from issuance in 1981 until they began trading for 92 Berettas in 1988. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, principally edge wear. We rate these boxes as Very Good Condition, close to Excellent; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This box is correct for a 4 inch model 67 revolver, and acceptable for any K frame manufactured from the late 1960s to the late 1980s. We’re offering them each for only $ 99.00.
