This listing is for ONE grip and its screw. Buyer will receive one of the two grip panels in the photos. Here are left panel factory Smith &Wesson Walnut Magna Style service grips for any K or L square butt grip frame revolver. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. These were issued to the Ohio Department of Corrections in the late 1980s to early 1990s on Model 64-5 Revolvers. The right sides almost always wear out quickly, so this left panel survived well. Construction is cut checkered Goncalo Alves Brazilian Wood, with nickel plated brass logo medallions, brass escutcheons and chrome plated steel screw. These grips replace the left panel of most any Medium Frame Smith & Wesson Post World War II Revolver that has a Square Butt Grip Frame. It will only match correctly with a right panel that is beveled at the bottom. That includes Models 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 45, 48, 56, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 581, 586, 617, 648, 681 and 686 in square butt grip frame only, mostly manufactured prior to 1996. Model 12 owners may need a substantial amount of fitting, since many of the Model 12s have thinner-than-normal grip frames. Surface detractions will be moderate, principally weakness to the checkering or departmeent paint on one panel. We classify them both as Very Good, 75 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. There have not been any of these grips manufactured for over ten years now, and there will never be any more made. Each panel comes with its correct nickel screw, brass escutcheon, and nickel factory medallion.
