Exact pistol in the photos. Smith & Wesson's premier metal frame service pistol, the model 5903. VCV prefix = 1994. Locked breech, hammer fired, traditional double and single action semi automatic pistol. Steel barrel, slide assembly, sights, hammer, trigger and internal parts combined with a lightweight alloy frame. Original factory 15 round magazine, 15 + 1 capacity. 4 inch Ball Joint barrel. Factory 3 dot dovetailed Novak combat sights. Second type round trigger guard with forward serrations. .304 smooth faced trigger, with .265 serrated spur hammer. Factory polymer round MSH 1 piece grip. 6 5/8 # single action pull; 11# vicinity smooth double action. Decocking ambidextrous lever safety, firing pin safety, and magazine safety. 7.5 inches OAL; 5.5 height. .915 slide width. 28.2 oz empty. Satin stainless slide finish, matching white coated alloy frame and levers; black melonite sights, hammer and trigger. Minimal wear, faint holster streaking upper left side slide muzzle area. We rate this 5903 as Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, 85 – 90% vicinity, but photos ought to suffice. We estimate fired fewer than 300 times. Domicile was with the Mishteret Y’Israel in the Land of Israel, attest the reimport stamp on the bottom of its guard. This was probably a reserve piece, not issued.
