British / Australian proofs and markings right side barrel, butt, and cylinder. 3 inch barrel, military armorer cut and crowned, down from original 4 or 5 inches. 6 rounds .38 S&W or .38 Special ammunition; not designed for +P; anticipate some ejection difficulty since the chambers were modified postwar. Parkerized frame finish with casehardened hammer and trigger, period correct civilian diamond pattern factory walnut grips. Blued barrel finish. Moderate wear, we estimate Very Good, 75 to 80%, but photos ought to suffice.  Correct timing, no lateral cylinder play. Clean bore and chambers, no pitting. This revolver’s postwar domicile was Ramey Air Force Base jurisdiction. We estimate fired fewer than 200 times.  Transferable to eligible CA Civilians and to C&Rs.
