Steel barrel, cylinder, hammer, trigger, internal parts in a lightweight alloy frame with period correct Jay Scott Goncalo combat grips. J frame Square Butt. 5 rounds .38 Special, not designed for any +P loads. Barrel is 3 inch standard tapered, pinned into the frame. Sights are serrated blade front with fixed notch rear. .240 serrated trigger with matching hammer. 1.31 inch cylinder dia.; 7 1/2 in length; 4 1/4 height; weight 14.8 ounces empty. 3 degrees hammer travel on double action; 10 on single action with 3 pound pull. No lateral play; .005 forcing cone gap. Carbon deposits on the cylinder face and underneath the top strap are minimal. Domicile was Borinquen Air Station jurisdiction, on guard against Castro’s Communists and Cartels. We estimate fired fewer than 100 times. Bore and cylinder chambers are all bright and clean. Finish is polished surface blued steel, with matte sight area, gloss black alloy, and color casehardened trigger and hammer. Surface detractions are extensive, pitting on left side rear of frame; and heavy freckling on the hammer and cylinder, and grip wear. We rate this 3 inch Chief as only Good Condition, 70%  vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice. No CA MA civilians.
