Exact revolver in pics. Note that this revolver has a cracked frame, not safe to shoot at all, but pleasing for collecting. .38 Military & Police Airweight, model 12, 3rd Engineering Change. Direct descendant of M13 Aircrewman. 5D50000 range serial = 1979 Bangor Punta. Traditional double single action revolver with hammer block. Steel 2 inch pinned barrel, cylinder assembly yoke, latch, hammer, trigger, and internal parts built into a lightweight K square alloy frame. 6 round cylinder. Fixed sights. .265 serrated trigger with matching hammer. Grips are original service Magna type.7 1/4 inches oal; 5 height; 1.45 cyl dia. 18 1/2 oz empty. Minimal carbon, we estimate fired fewer than 100 times. Home domicile was Borinquen Air Station jurisdiction, guarding against castro and cartels. Polished blue and gloss black alloy finish, with casehardened hammer & trigger. In addition to the frame damage, Surfacedetractions are moderate to extensive, principally pronounced finish freckling, edge wear, and grip wear. We rate this model 12 as Damaged with Good Finish, perhaps Very Good, 70 to 75 %   vicinity, but photos ought to suffice.
