Exact revolver in pics. .38 Military & Police Airweight, model 12, 2nd Engineering Change. Direct descendant of M13 Aircrewman. D380000 range serial = 1972 Bangor Punta. Traditional double single action revolver with hammer block. Steel 2 inch pinned barrel, cylinder assembly yoke, latch, hammer, trigger, and internal parts built into a lightweight K round alloy frame. 6 rounds .38 Special, No +P. Fixed sights. .265 serrated trigger with matching hammer. Correctly fitted Imitation Ivory Grips. 7 inches oal; 5 height; 1.45 cyl dia. 18 1/2 oz empty. Minimal carbon, we estimate fired fewer than 100 times. Home domicile was Chicagoland, guarding parts of our Cold War arsenal. 10-15 degrees cyl travel on double action; 30 single with 4 1/4 lb. SA pull. .006 forcing cone gap. No lateral play. Polished blue and black alloy finish, with casehardened trigger, hammer.  Surface detractions are moderate, principally edge wear and weathering on the front sight. We rate it as Very Good, 80 – 85% but photos ought to suffice.
