This listing is for the exact Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum Stainless, numbered model 66, 5th Engineering Change Revolver in the photos. CEY = 2001 late Tomkins. Traditional double and single action, medium round butt revolver. Milled steel with MIM trigger and hammer. Holds 6 rounds .38 Special and .357 Magnum. Barrel is 4 inch Heavy one piece, with 5 groove 1:18.75 right hand rifling. Frame is reinforced magnum type, optics compatible with beveled thumb latch. Sights are red ramp front; rounded base adjustable white outline rear. Floating firing pin ignition. Internal transfer bar. Trigger is .312 smooth combat, with .375 hammer. Grips are original factory issue Michaels. Cylinder length is 1.664 long by 1.449 diameter. Overall length is 9 1/2 inches by 5 inches height. Weight empty is 37 ounces. Finish is original brushed stainless steel, with case colored MIM hammer and trigger. Grip frame is serrated fore and aft. Domicile was Borinquen Air Station Jurisdiction, against castro & cartels. Surface detractions are minimal, principally faint lateral scours and edge wear on the sights. We rate it as Excellent Condition, 90 % , but photos ought to suffice. We estimate it was fired fewer than 100 times. Blast and carbon deposits are minimal. Bore and cylinder chambers are all bright and clean. Hammer travels 10 degrees on all six double action. Single action pull is5 1/4 pounds, with 20degrees of hammer travel. Forcing cone gap measures .006. Cylinder has no lateral play whatsoever. No CA MA Civilians.
