            Exact revolver in the photos: Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum Stainless, numbered model 66, original variant, no suffix. 9K49000 range number = 1976 Bangor Punta. Traditional double and single action, medium frame revolver; Construction is entirely milled steel metal. Chambering .38 Special and .357 Magnum, 6 round capacity. Barrel is 4 inch Heavy one piece, with 5 groove 1:18.75 right hand rifling, pinned into the frame. Sights are serrated red ramp front; rear sight is windage and elevation adjustable black blade. Trigger .265 serrated face, .375 semi target hammer. Grips are period correct Pachmayr SKL. Finish is brushed surface stainless, with Satin Chrome hammer and trigger. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, principally edge wear. We rate this 66 as Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, 85 to 90%, but photos ought to suffice. It served in the jurisdictional domicile of Borinquen Air Station against Castro and the Cartels. We estimate it was fired fewer than 100 times. Carbon and blast effect are minimal. Bore and cylinder chambers are all bright and clean. Hammer travels 2-3 degrees double action; 15 single. Single action trigger pull gauges a crisp 4 pounds. Forcing cone gap is .007. No lateral play. We’re offering this 66 at an attractive price.       Not transferable to civilian residents of California or C&Rs  until 2026.
