This listing is for ONE Simunition® Conversion Barrel. From service with the Federal West German Police, the Bundespolizei, come these sparingly used training conversion barrels for the Sig Sauer P6 or old model P225 pistols, that were manufactured from the mid 1970s until 1998. These conversions will NOT fit the new model P225A1 Sig pistols. Manufacturer is SNC of Le Gardeur, Quebec. Importer from Germany was PW Arms. The purpose of these kits is for Law Enforcement and Military training using Simunition® FX and CQT ammunition only. The barrel will not accept standard 9mm small arms ammunition; if it did, anyone stupid enough to chamber it would be in danger of injury because even though these barrels are steel, they are not designed to withstand standard cartridge pressures, and their chamber hood right side area is ported. They are only for training, and only for Simunition® cartridges. We estimate these conversion barrel assemblies were fired fewer than 500 rounds apiece. We rate them as Very Good Condition, but photos will hopefully suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore and chamber are bright and clean. The West German P6 Trainer showing in some of our photos is not included; we have it and its mates rebarreled and for sale on another listing. Replacement pricing is over $200 for one of these kits. We’re offering the kits in the photos, however, each for only $ 59.00.
