Item Description

This listing is for ONE Set of Grips. Here are Italian Walnut grips we found in an old Southern Warehouse, that fit any Smith & Wesson J frame revolver with a round butt grip frame. These include models 34 and 36, and their stainless counterparts models 63 and 60. Manufacturer was Bidiemme s.r.l. of Milan, Italy. These are mid 1980s to early 1990s production, unissued old stock and repackaged. Importer was Sile Inc., Center Market Place, New York. Construction is Italian Walnut, with chrome plated steel screws and escutcheon; and with plated medallions. Finish is machine cut checkering, with dark stain and satin lacquer coating. These grips will only fit a Smith & Wesson J frame revolver, with round butt grip frame. That includes models 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 48, 60, and other 6 prefix stainless versions. They will Not fit a square butt J frame, or any other frame. We have successfully modified some of these grips to fit Taurus 85 and Rossi 68 351 type revolvers, but those are listed separately on this venue. These grips are period correct for Bangor Punta production Smith & Wessons, and acceptable, attractive, and ergonomic for even current production Smiths. Similar walnut grips from come lately competitors command prices up to and even over $100 per set.
