This listing is for ONE Sig Sauer Hammer, See our other parts available for the Sig Sauer P Series. From their careers on training pistols with the Federal West German Police comes these Hammers for Sig P series pistols. Manufacturer was Sig Sauer gmbh of Eckenforde, Germany. Production dates were late 1970s to early 1980s. Note that their hammer spurs were broken off at the stem; otherwise they are still operable. The parent pistols were the final pieces of the forty some odd thousand Federal West German Police issue P6 pistols that we and our colleagues have highly enjoyed selling for the previous 2 decades. This part is view number 29 on the schematic. Construction is milled steel. These will fit Sig Sauer P series pistols with carbon slides, including models P6, P220, P224, P225, P226, P228, P229, and P239. These hammers were taken off pistols whose slides, barrels, and frames were all demilled, so they were never actually fired very much, just used for training. Finish is blue oxide. Apart from the spurs being broken off, surface detractions are only moderate, as the photos show. Replacement pricing often runs upwards of $100 apiece for Sig Hammers.
