This listing is for the exact Assembly in the photos. From its original home domicile in Northeast Arkansas comes this complete forend assembly for an early Savage Stevens model 94 Single Shot Shotgun chambered in .410 gauge. Manufacturer was Savage Arms, Chicopee Falls, Mass., and the parent shotgun was so marked on its left side. Production was late 1930s or early 1940s. Buyer would be welcome to the receiver at no charge (1) if we still have it and (2) for holders of an FFL or C&R FFL. Construction is steel metal framework housing a forend that was injection molded from Tenite or Bakelite, early polymer from the 1930s. Spring strength and lockup are very good, we pulled this from its original shotgun.  Coloration is brown with molding figure, with chrome plated pivot piece and with blued steel internals. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate; we rate this assembly as Very Good, perhaps even Excellent Condition.
