documents in the photos. Finnish / English Owners manual is on single leaf, hex
folded into 4 x 8 1/4 inch brochure size, with six distinct sections.
Accompanying Finland Sako / Stoeger Industries flyer is principally an
advertising device, single leaf vertically folded into a 3 7/8 x 9 1/8 inch
perforated hang tag. Manual printer was Sako in Finland; flyer printer was the
importer, Stoeger, of New Jersey. Stoeger’s importation period was late 1970s –
early 1980s. Note that the parent rifle was a 600,000 range .280 Finnbear
Hunter. Minimal wear, principally age toning. Instruction manuals are readily
available online, or via video. These two documents, however, will enhance the
collectability of excellent condition similar period Sakos whose documents were
misplaced.ocument enhances the rifles’
collectability. The Ted Williams image on the front cover is better in our book
than a baseball card.
