Ruger Max-9 subcompact. Sturm, Ruger & Co. of Prescott, AZ. Striker fired semi automatic pistol. Steel slide, barrel, internal parts, trigger, three piece guide rod, magazine body, and springs; fitted into a glass filled high performance polymer frame with polymer magazine plate and cartridge follower. Center set trigger safety with left side main safety for right handed shooters only. Sights are factory dovetailed notch type rear with recessed and steel housed tritium powered night / day green fiber optic front. Frame top has removable hood that will accommodate 2 screw optics mounts like the Crimson Trace Red Dot system. Barrel is flared muzzle ball joint type, 3 3/16 inches 6 groove 1:10 right hand twist. Retractable Detonics type return rod assembly. .350 smooth trigger will center set leaf; 2 stage 5 1/2# Pull. Magazine is flush fitting 10 rounder with flat plate and finger rest. 18.4 oz empty.  5 3/4” OAL; 4 1/2” Height or 4 3/4” with Finger Rest; .931 width at the port. Black oxide finish with matching stippled polymer. Each Max-9 comes in its factory box with instruction manual, NRA card, ruger store coupons, extra floorplate, and Ruger cable lock. NO CA MA civilians. 12 round magazines are readily available from the Ruger Store.
