Rossi Old First Model 31, 51, 68 Revolver Grips fit INA Tiger early 70s Round Butt only

1960s 2 inch or Garcia 3 inch; or INA Tiger 3 inch early 1970s

Here are correct Rossi grips for their 31 and 68 series revolvers that had a round butt grip frame, produced from 1964 until about 1974. They also fit the very similar I.N.A. Tiger revolvers in 3 inch barrel lengths that were imported from 1968 until about 1978. These grips will Not fit recent production Rossis that have square butt grip frames. Rossi grip frame configuration went over to square butt in the late 1970s after Interarms importer took over from Garcia importer. Shoppers unfamiliar with round versus square revolver grip frames please see the comparative photos. Manufacturer was Amadeo Rossi y cia., of São Leopoldo, Brazil. We estimate these grips are at least 40 years old, but never used until now. Construction is Brazilian Hardwood, with original brass right panel escutcheon and replacement J round type steel screw. Finish is original factory oil finish. Surface detractions are moderate, principally age and storage contact.
