Rock Island factory Grips for Armscor model 200 and 208 Revolvers Black Rubber Combat type with screw & logos

The Filipino craftsmen at the Armscor factory sometimes are affected by cognitive deficits, like many of us. Here are their combat grips for the Armcor model 200 Revolvers, manufactured from 1996 until the present, and copied on the order of the D Frame Colt. Manufacturer is Armscor of the Philippines, Cebu City. Construction is two piece molded hard rubber, with steel screw and inlaid hex nut for an escutcheon. For the past few years, these have shipped with the 4 inch barreled M200 Revolvers, and even included as extras in many of the M206, 2 inch revolvers. Somehow, the grip frame’s butt pin on the 4 inch Model 200 is positioned differently than those on the 2 inch versions, the 206. These grips issue on the model 200s, but they require modification to fit the 2 inch revolvers. Since the importer’s technicians in Nevada were clueless, we had to do it, by recessing one small area on each panel for the larger 206 frame pin, by milling down some polymer casting pillars on another set; and by adding a longer Brownell’s grip screw on both sets that we worked. Shoppers inclined to wrestle with the armscor com site, who own a Dremel tool, who have an account with Brownells, and who have patience to wait for backorders, can perhaps save a couple dollars.
