This listing is for one set of 3 documents. Buyer will receive one of the two sets in the photos. Here are factory Remington Owner’s Documents, including Manuals or Instruction Books for Remington model Sportsman 78 Bolt Action Rifles that were manufactured from 1984 until 1989. The 78, of course, was a 700 in a birchwood stock, instead of walnut or synthetic. Publisher was Remington Arms of Ilion, New York, with 315 area code fax number and address on page 14. The factory registration cards are a revision of 1986, with a 1992 expiration date. Instruction Book Dimensions are 5 by 7 1/2 inches, the standard size from about 1970 until around the Millennial Year. Pages are semi glossy surface with green, red, and black ink. Contents are 22 numbered internal pages not counting the covers for the book. The SAAMI Firearms Safety booklet has a 1987 date. Surface detractions are minimal, principally age toning to the registration card. These documents have never been issued or used, and have been in our old upright office file for the past 35 some odd years. Model 78 owners who simply want instructions can view or print free off the internet. Excellent Condition 78 owners, however, who want to enhance their rifle’s collectability will find that this package of documents assists in that endeavor.
