This listing is for the exact part in the photos. From a salvaged rifle comes this sight base to fit Remington 580 and 581 series rimfire rifles manufactured from about 1960 until around 1990. Construction is one piece case polymer with serrated top pattern, and with dovetail and single screw hole. It will not fit any Nylon series Remington, only the 580 and 581s that issued with hardwood stocks and this and the butt plate as the only polymer parts. Finish is gloss black polymer; surface detractions are only moderate, principally edge wear. We’re offering this hard to find, important part for two historic American Rifles, for only $ 26.00.
