Item Description

This service rig comes to us from the personal collection of a retired career Navy Veteran from Tennessee who first served his country with the Navy; then, when he retired in 1985, spent the next several years with firearms training and law enforcement in Panama City and Bay County, Florida. Belt is an unmarked black basketweave Ranger type with conventional buckle, a full 3 inch wide belt for officers with pants size is 35; our veteran was still fit as a fiddle on his 80th birthday. Belt was manufactured by Tex Shoemaker Company, marking is 73R 85. Cuff case is black basketweave nickel snap Tex Shoemaker #704; and the Magazine case is Mixson leathercraft, #302 59 to accept double stacked magazines for the Smith & Wesson 59 and many others. All four keepers are black basketweave nickel snap. We estimate this rig issued in the 1970s. Replacement price on all this set on todays market with genuine U.S. Cow leather is well over $150.00. This set is in Very Good condition by our estimate, with good pliable surfaces throughout.
