Parker Japan Pen Knife 1982 World’s Fair Knoxville, TN Excellent PK210
OUR # pk210

Item Description

Tennesseans expected a miraculous economic boost from the 1982 World’s Fair, an event that we pay little attention to nowadays. It was not quite the shot in the arm that East Tennessee hoped for; and the only ripple we felt here in West Tennessee was souvenir activity. Here is one of those souvenirs that survived here in the West End of the State, a Japan Made Single Blade Office type pocket knife that was never used or sharpened. Handle material is solid brass, with Parker’s trademark surgical grade stainless steel blade. This knife has never been used or sharpened, and its only surface detractions are faint amounts of liner contact buffing on its blade, mostly the tang area, from being opened and closed by shoppers, traders, and admirers from the collection this one came from.We rate it as Excellent, perhaps Near Mint, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Overall length closed is 3 3/8 inches, and the single spear-pattern blade measures 2 ½ inches from heel to point. Own it for only $ 29.00
