Pal Cutlery 1 Blade Pen Knife 1940s Smooth Black PK270 Remington variant
OUR #PK270

Item Description

Despite its singleness of blade and diminutive size, this Pal Cutlery Company single blade equal end Jack or Pen knife is desirable on account of its spear blade pattern, composite handle panels, and long pull groove. Blade surfaces have been lightly sanded at one point in the past, but details and contours are sufficiently strong. We estimate that the blade retains some 90 percent of its original width and thickness. Blade tang is marked Pal Cutlery Col / Made / in U.S.A. Pal Blade, of course, was affiliated with Remington knives. Handle panels are black composite with a half dozen or so light pecks, mostly on the obverse panel. Mechanical qualities and Back spring strength are excellent, since the blade springs shut resoundingly from about 35 degrees proximity. Overall length closed is 3 inches, and the spear pattern blade measures 2 1/4 inches from heel to point. Blade is square backed, so heel to backspring fit is excellent. Own this fine, collectable little Pal for only $ 39.00.
