OD Green Ajax type Grips with Tyler T-grip style Adapter S&W J Revolvers 36 60 642 Krylon & Brushed Alloy for Smith & Wesson

This listing is for two components: One set of grips and One Grip Adapter. They restore compactness and 1970s aesthetics to Smith & Wesson Pocket Size Revolvers known as the J Frame Series with Round Butt Grip frames. That includes models 30, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 49, 51, 60, 63, 317, 351, 442, 637, 638, 640, 642, 650, and 651. Grips type is Magna or Service size standard panels. This set includes a Tyler style Grip Adapter that increases front strap size and ergonomics, and reduces recoil torque. Construction is brushed surface aluminum alloy, with brass center stirrup that attaches between grip panels and frame. Grips are exact copies of the old Ajax 22IP series, hard polymer with checkered texture lower panels. Screw is flat head steel, with black brass escutcheon in the right panel. Grip finish is Military Style Olive Drab Green Krylon matte coating. These grips and adapters will only fit Smith & Wesson small J Frame Revolvers with a round butt grip frame. They are period correct for revolvers made between World War II and the onset of internal locks in 2002. Photo specimen, in fact, was from Air Service issuance at Ramey Air Force Base in 1969. Each grip pair and adapter comes in its individual package suitable for reseller pegboard display.
