This listing is for the exact grips in the photos, and one set was all we had. Here is a set of what we call Banana Combat Grips from the 1970s. Manufacturer was Mustang Grips of Temecula, CA. Stock number 6636 is inked inside both panels. Construction is two tone Brazilian Goncalo Alves wood with brass screw and brass escutcheons. Finish is gloss lacquer. Surface detractions are moderate, only finish dulling and superficial mars. We rate them as Very Good Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. These grips were designed for Smith & Wesson Small J Frame Revolvers with a round butt grip frame. That includes models 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 60, and later 3 prefix air lite models or 6 prefix stainless variants. They will not fit any other revolver. They will Not fit a Smith & Wesson with a square butt grip frame. They will Not fit a K frame, or an L frame, or an N frame Smith & Wesson. We estimate they were manufactured in the early to mid 1970s. They are period correct for any J Round Smith manufactured from 1968 to about 1988.
