This listing is for ONE Magazine. Here are Mec Gar 9 round magazines in bright nickel finish to fit any Colt Government Size Pistol chambered in .38 Super Caliber. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar srl of Gussago, Italy; importer and warrantor is Mec-Gar USA of Middletown, Connecticut. Construction is entirely steel, serrated side steel body with round count ports, full length tig welded smooth milled back, welded floor plate, piano grade spring, and chrome plated steel cartridge follower. Finish is polished bright nickel body and brushed surface nickel floorplate. This magazine will only fit a 1911 type Single Action Semi-Auto Pistol chambered in 38 Super caliber. Colt Models include Government and Commander, all variants with a full length grip frame. They will work just fine in the Taurus PT1911 Pistols chambered in .38 Super. These magazines are just what the doctor ordered for the Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 1911 in .38 Super. They Will Not work in a .45 Automatic; Will Not Work in a 9mm; Will Not Work in a Sig P220 .38 Super; Will Not Work in an EAA Witness; Will Not Work on the valve of a 19th Century Italian Bidet. They will only work in a 1911 type Pistol chambered in .38 Super caliber whose magazine well measures 4 1/2 inches deep from the butt of the grip frame to the bottom of its closed slide.
