This listing is for ONE magazine cap. Here are original factory magazine caps that fit Remington 870 and 1100 series shotguns chambered in 20 gauge and manufactured since 1988 when Remington eliminated the barrel lug detent ball on its shotguns, placed two dimples in each gun’s magazine tube, and outfitted them with serrated faced black polymer spring retainers. If your shotgun is 20 gauge, and if it came with a spring retainer like the black one showing in one of our photos but not included, then this cap will work. If your shotgun, however, was manufactured prior to 1988 and has a little silver ball on its barrel lug, this cap will fit but won’t stay in place very well. Manufacturer was Remington Arms of Ilion, NY. These were manufactured in 2013, were removed from brand new shotguns and stored until now. Construction is one piece steel, with aperture for a sling swivel stud. Finish is blued steel. These caps will fit Lightweight Remington 870 and 1100 series shotguns, the later LT-20 type correctly; will fit 1187 in 20 gauge. We’re offering them each for only $ 29.00.
