This listing is for the exact ring in the photos. From the heart of Elvisland, between Tupelo and Memphis, comes this very pretty, pear cut Sapphire solitaire with 8 side Diamonds. Manufacturer was US Made, Maker’s Mark is on the inner shank surface, contains the letter Z. We estimate this ring was made in the early 1990s. The center Sapphire measures 6.2mm by 6.4mm, so 1 Carat weight. It is very dark yet still translucent. Border diamonds are 4 round on either side .01 to .02 Carat each; with 3 Baguettes complementing on either side, total of 6 ranging from .01 to .03 Carat. Diamond weight measures at .20 Carat; so a total of 1.20 Total Gem Weight. Mounting is 14 Karat Yellow Gold, and the entire ring weighs 4.36 grams. Shank is ring size 6, the original size. Since jewelry stores normally price their 14 Karat mountings in the $100 to $120 per gram vicinity, and sapphires and diamonds in $300 to $700 per carat range, this ring would command a regular price between $689 and $939.
